I have stopped sending my boys down south for selling, it was working and they seemed to be rehomed quite quickly from there but it was a long drive to drop them off and to be honest the commission was a little high at 45%.
So now what to do? Even though I love the internet (and yes I know I spend far too much time on it) I'm not keen on the crafty selling sites - though I haven't tried them .. maybe I should?!?
So as I only have a little home there is a limited amount of bears I can keep here and I'm not sure how or where I am going to sell them .... does this mean I should stop making them? What could I tinker with if I don't do the boys?

You really ought give Folksy a go Ali. It's UK based, which I think is a little easier than Etsy imo.
ReplyDeleteIf you know babylonglegs, she sells from there...i'm sure she could give you a few pointers. They are so lovely, it would be a shame to stop creating them.

Oh it would be such a pity to stop creating them, they bring a smile to so many faces. Are there any independent gift or card shops in any towns/villages nearby - a friend took her beaded necklaces to one near us and they sold the lot for her.
