Let me introduce Colin

Here is Colin - he is a very able little bear, he really wanted to have a sit on the bear seat and really didn't want any help.

He made it in the end (it really would have been quicker if I had helped!)

It wasn't long before he found the stairs and was off!

He looks like the cat the got the cream when he found this empty bed

This is where I found him!

Brian the Snail

Look isn't it funny! I know as a gardener I shouldn't like them but ... really he was so funny and so fast!

We relocated him out of he garden so he didn't eat all our little plants.

Happy day's

Oh its been a lovely weekend with a real feel of summer - not that I did much but it really lifts my spirit when the weather is good.
I started a new bear this weekend and by the looks of him he is going to be called Colin! I will post a picture of him as soon as he comes together.

This afternoon me and the kids had a bit of a working party in the garden and we managed to weed a bit and clear a load of rubbish - trouble is I need to do a tip run now as its all down the side of the house in bin bags.

Not sure if this is a flower or a weed but I thought it was very pretty - all hearts.

I know this one is a weed but I just love the structure of these.

I always thought Poppy's are red! I have loads of these in my garden .. not sure how they got there but they are still welcome as they are so soft and sunny.

This morning feels like a summer morning , I have been up since silly o'clock (which seems to be my way) and the birds are doing their best to make it feel beautiful.

Today I am dropping my medium sized people down south and then I think I will pop in and have a coffee with my parents as Ive not seen them for a while.

I'm not sure what the rest of the day will hold really - I would love to finish my rockery, I need to do some housework but I also have some patterns that are desperate to burst out of my head and onto the pins ... I wonder which will win today!

Its all socks!

I have a need for sock!! I have decided that this year I will end the year with 7 pairs of home knitted socks.

I already have one pair that I wear to death at the moment and on Friday I finished my first pair for this year. I couldn't resist but to cast on for the next pair and I am already up to the leg.

I will post pictures when I get alittle more time.

Noel

Here is Noel, he was made on commission as a Christmas gift for someone who collects bears!!

He's a cheeky chap because as soon as he got his legs he stood up!!! He is the first full size bear that has managed to stand on his own and once he started there was no stopping him.
I hope he behaves himself and settles in with his new friends.

Snowy

I sent one of my bears off to Australia as a Christmas bear for a friend o f mine. I didn't remember to take many pictures of him before he left but I did get one as he was getting ready for his trip
