Bill

Well another baby has been made and is ready for his re-homing. He is off to live in Wales with a little lad. I'm sure they will become life long friends. Here are a couple of pictures of him before he goes.

Blanket

How fantastic, I have sold all my spare blankets - 4 of them all in a week!!

I feel a little empty not to have my fluffy friends around me so I have just ordered enough yarn to do 6 new ones :)

This will be my evening knitting for a while with the added bonus of keeping me warm while I knit!

Dog Bear Thing

I started off making another bear (have I mentioned that I am completely hooked on this needle felt stuff!) but this one sort of changed as he went along!

So now I'm not sure if he's a dog or a bear or maybe he is a mix of both!

Another one!

Well after yesterdays play with the felting needle I decided to have another go today, and I made a little white/creamy bear for a friend.

He has gone off to his new home today where I hope he will be very loved!

Something new

I have been craving something new recently and I think I may have found it!

I'm not sure where I saw it, or heard of it but I came across needle felting.... and I think its magic!

I have searched the net to find suppliers and ordered myself some bits as a starter kit, which arrived today. I had to work today so I didn't get to play until tea time but when I did .. it was fantastic!!

I would like to introduce you to my latest little bear :)

Pre Christmas rush

Wow its been a bit busy recently, I have sold all my blankets, sold a couple of hats and have three bears ready to go off to market and one that is being picked up on Monday.

This is Candy, she is not my normal bear - I normally only do "bear" coloured bears but this was a special order (oh and I normally only do boys!!)

Hopefully she will go off to her new home on Monday and will be greatly loved.

What to do?

I have stopped sending my boys down south for selling, it was working and they seemed to be rehomed quite quickly from there but it was a long drive to drop them off and to be honest the commission was a little high at 45%.

So now what to do? Even though I love the internet (and yes I know I spend far too much time on it) I'm not keen on the crafty selling sites - though I haven't tried them .. maybe I should?!?

So as I only have a little home there is a limited amount of bears I can keep here and I'm not sure how or where I am going to sell them .... does this mean I should stop making them? What could I tinker with if I don't do the boys?
